About Emerald Empower Foundation
Emerald Empower Foundation is a non-profit education NGO in Sri Lanka dedicated to supporting students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds through access to learning resources and academic support.
Our Story
Emerald Empower Foundation was established with a clear purpose: to used education as a pathway to reform a society that moves forward through lifelong learning, skill empowerment, and autonomy.
Guided by a Board of Trustees and supported by volunteers, we design and implement educational initiatives that respond directly to the needs of students in rural, undeserved and marginalized communities.
Our Mission
To expand equitable, high quality learning opportunities for all students from economically disadvantaged and marginalized families, while dismantling structures of social exclusion and cultivating foundational skills that enable personal agency, collective empowerment, and freedom from domination.
Our Vision
Society where students from economically disadvantaged families gain equitable access to every learning opportunity in education; where they rise beyond the prevailing structures of social marginalization, and advance with empowered freedom and strengthened capabilities- moving forward as creators of their own liberated future.
